歐洲標準DIN EN71(EURONORM DIN EN 71)的品質管控，只侷限在玩具、文具、顏料，以及黏土上是否含有過量的金屬和芳香胺化合物。然而，史督曼公司認為這樣的品質管控不夠嚴謹。因此在史督曼的品質管制系統中，就多加了一層自己的程序。我們檢驗色彩蠟、水彩、蜜蠟黏土、黏土，以及蠟紙所始用的材料以及製造過程中，任何可能會有的有害物質。
